One month to go...

One month til I go off travelly-like.
This morning booked flights to Istanbul for a long weekend the week before I leave for Australia.
Erm, obviously have not actually travelled anywhere in the last few months unless you count a piss-up in Leeds and a weekend in Brussels which involved vin chaud and babysitting.
So this is where I plan to document this year's major trip that goes as follows:
Australia (going right round it)
Hong Kong
Up through China (Guangzhou, Xian, Beijing etc)
Trans Sib train from Beijing through Mongolia and Russia with stops in Ulan Baatar, Moscow and St Petersburg
Cologne (to get me ear in for the German degree I start in 6 months)
Leipzig TO SEE WHERE BACH LIVED!
Tadworth (suppose had better go home for a bit)
Newcastle! (to learn stuff and sponge off society student-style for 4 years)
